Eden Hazard says he is back Chelsea to beat Manchester City in the English Premier League (EPL) encounter this weekend.
Manchester City host Chelsea in the EPL fixture this weekend and Hazard is confident of the result.
Pep Guardiola’s side will be looking to return to winning ways in the league on Saturday evening following their defeat at Liverpool prior to the international break.
City currently occupy fourth spot in the league and know a victory will see them leapfrog Frank Lampard’s side up into third at least.
However, it won’t be easy for City against a Chelsea side who has won their last six league matches in a row.
Real Madrid winger Hazard will be cheering on his former side from the Spanish capital at the weekend, and he believes they have what it takes to cause an upset at the Etihad Stadium.
“Of course I think so. It’s not going to be easy. It’s hard to play there,” the Real Madrid winger told Sky Sports.
“Last time we played them we lost 6-0, so bad memories for me and Chelsea. But I think this season they are really good. They are really young, but they are really good, so why not go there and win the game?”
